How MITEI invested in energy-transition research across MIT in FY24. Included in this chart are six early-stage research projects supported with $900,000 from the MITEI Seed Fund and 15 new Future Energy Systems Center projects totaling $1.25M. The Center made 22 project awards totaling $4.15M in FY24, but the remainder will start after the close of FY24.
